How to create document types for requests?

Set up the documents you’ll request from candidates

1. Go to Organization Settings

Click on your organization name in the top left corner of the screen.


2. Open “Document Types”

In the menu drawer on the left, select “Document Types.”

3. Add a New Document

Click the “Add Document” button.


4. Fill Out the Form

  • Name: Enter the name of the document (e.g., Passport, Seaman’s Book).
  • ID Code: Use lowercase letters and underscores instead of spaces (e.g., seamans_book).
  • Instructions: Write a short description to help the candidate understand what to upload.


5. Save

  • Click “Save” to finish.
  • Or click “Save and Add Another” to continue adding more documents.
